This week seemed really strange. I’m not exactally sure why. Brasil played twice this week and our new mission president got here.
I don’t really remeber the first Brasil game but the last one that went into penalties was intense. My companion and the family we were with were on the edge of their seats, I was too but, I am sure it means more to them than it does to me. But Brasil pulled it off. It was their first elimination game too so it made it a whole lot more intense.
The sisters in my district called us with a problem. They had a problem with a mouse in their house. So we had to go there and kill the rat. Because we can’t be in their house at the same time as them the were outside looking through the window as we went through their kitchen looking for this mouse. Eventually we found it and killed it, but they called us later that same day and they had another one there. This time they just went to a memebrs house to sleep there. I think they ware going to call someone to get it fixed.
Our new president, president Broadbent, got here the other day. I have had the oppurtunity to talk with him a few times but always breifly. He is going to interview our zone this week, so it will be nice to get to know him a little bit better. We had a meeting with the whole mission on his first day. His Portuguese is a little rusty so he read his talk instead of just speaking. His wife know Spanish so that should help her at least a little bit. There are a lot of Spanish Elders in our mission.
